Team Websites

The Club uses the LeagueAthletic website system to register coaches and players, communicate to parents, schedule games and events and many other important organizational functions.  Registered Coaches and Team Managers are encouraged to use this site for thier respective teams.  

To schedule events, send emails, or update scores from a computer, log in to your account  and go to the "Team" web page.  Use the drop down boxes to select the team you want to effect.  After you can see your team page, use the links on the left side of the team page for ScheduleRoster and Results

  • Email -- From the Roster page, use the Option pull down on right side to send email an to your team, or select certain parents.  Enter your email address in the "Reply to" field and edit/add/delete the "To" addressees as desired.  Attach files if needed. 

  • Roster -- From the Roster page, use the Option pull down on right side to assign jersey numbers to your players and print a roster.  Sort players by jersey number or name. (Team Rosters are pre-populated by the Board for each team.)

  • Scheduling -- From the Schedule page, use the Option pull down on right side to schedule an event and an alert.  Within the Team input box inside  an event setup, select only YOUR team. 

  • Scores -- From the Results page, enter game results for your team.  Optionally use this link -- https://leagueathletics.com/Cpanel/Results.asp?org=MASONLACROSSE.NET

‚ÄčFrom a smart phone, Coaches and Managers can also view the team roster, send emails, edit schedules and update scores using the LeagueAthletics app.  (LeagueAthletics and SI Play are operated by the same business, either app will work once connected to your LeagueAthletics account).

 

Division of Responsiblites
 
Program Coordinators:

  • Responsible for all teams at that grade level of the Mason Lacrosse Club program

  • Oversee & manage both players/coaches for all assigned teams

  • Responsible for roster compositions

  • Resolve conflicts that arise during the season and address parent questions/complaints

  • Responsible for overall general communications to parents/players

  • Responsible for communications with coaching staff

  • Responsible for coordination of coaching assignments

  • Arbitrator of disagreements between coaches

  • Participate in any grievances reported and participate in grievance policy procedures as outlined (involving and notifying the Board on all serious matters)

  • Responsible for confirming each team has the accurate # of assigned league games (10 games per team at Youth level, 15 games per team at MS Boys level and 14 games per team at the MS Girls level)

  • Responsible for making sure Head Coaches are aware of the various optional tournaments for each program level team and coordinate as necessary

  • Attend Southwest Ohio League Chapter Mtgs & Mason Lacrosse Club Board Mtgs. and relay information to coaching staff and board members.

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the evaluation process of players as outlined in the Player Assessment and Team Assignment Policy and ensuring participation of ALL coaches at that program level.

  • Responsible for organizing and managing Optional Practice Clinics from November –January

  • Identifies and recommends Head Coaches & Asst. Coaches for assigned teams at the program level and forwards to the Board for approval.

  • Has final decision/vote on all matters affecting each team at assigned program level

  • Program Coordinator may also be a Head Coach (if he/she desires)

  • Responsible for enforcing Club Policies (if present) at games/practices (Concussion, Injury, Severe Weather etc)

  • Must report problems/issues to the Mason Lacrosse Club President/Board for any teams in program level for advise and direction on how to proceed and handle issues/problems which occured with other teams and/or officials immediately. 

  • Issues/Concerns on how to handle in-house team (player/coach/parent) problems should also be referred to the Club Board as follows:      

           -Major issues - refer for direction/guidance immediately
           -Minor issues - refer as an FYI to keep the board in the loop within 24 hours
          
 
Head Coach:

  • Responsible for all on-field technical coaching aspects of assigned team.

  • Responsible for team specific communications with the parents of designated team. 

  • Participate in all disputes/conflicts with assigned players/parents

  • Participate in Evaluation process

  • Participate in Optional Practice Clinics (November-January)

  • Communicate with Officials and Referees during Games

  • Run practices/develop practice plans

  • Manage assigned roster

  • Responsible for assigned team equipment

  • Responsible for advance referee fees (paying officials at games, reconcile advance at end of season, etc)

  • Post Game results on Website

  • Keep website practice & game schedules up to date

  • Responsible for enforcing Club Policies for their team/players/parents(Concussion, Injury, Severe Weather etc) during practices/games etc.

  • Determine & organize all optional lacrosse tournaments for team

  • Report problems/issues to Program Coordinator for assigned team (involving players, parents, coaches, game issues, officials etc) immediately after incident


Assistant Coach:

  • Specific duties are assigned by Head Coach (eg.  Offensive/defensive coordinator or individual position coach)

  • Participate in Evaluation process

  • Participate in Optional Practice Clinics (November-January)

  • Assist Head Coach at all practices and games

  • Responsible for enforcing Club Policies for their team/players/parents(Concussion, Injury, Severe Weather etc) during practices/games etc.

  • Report problems/issues to Head Coach in regards to players/parents for assigned team
